He also expressed his hope to deepen cooperation with the OECD on meeting challenges stemming from economic digitalization and the building of the cooperation mechanism for tax collection and management under the BRITACʘM, and keep enhancing tax governance ability, so as to make contributions to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Saint-Amans introduced OECD's taxation policies, as well as the major work schedules of the Center for Tax Policy and Administration in 2021. He fully recognized and appraised the positive progress achieved by China in the reform of electronic invoicing and other major tasks.
He expressed the hope that the two sides will establish platforms for information and experience sharing. He hoped the two sides will jointly find solutions in the taxation field to fight the pandemic and facilitate development, and build a growth-friendly taxation environment together.
